This new collection celebrates the use of advanced technology to closely collaborate with independant craft-people across the world, in order to share specialist knowledge and create quality products.

Working with one of the oldest potteries in Imari Japan, we produced two pieces that use two distinctive production techniques.

BRITISH DESIGN & JAPANESE PHILOSOPHY

This collection of beautifully considered objects combines the elegance of traditional Japanese craft with the contemporary functional aesthetics of modernist British design. It pays homage to the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty and purpose in everyday objects and redefining functionality with an artistic touch.

UNIQUE SHAPE

The pieces are created to celebrate the unintended use of everyday objects and reflect and play with cultural traditions and aesthetic detailing that is sometimes ubiquitous.

CELEBRATE CRAFTMANSHIP

Every crown rest and pet pot is exclusively produced in Kanemon in Imari Japan using only the finest clay. Each piece receives a coating of deep and iconic indigo or matte white glazes with the additional speckles added using various hand techniques.
